Wedding Ice Cream Truck in Maryland

An ice cream truck at a wedding is a dessert moment and a photo moment at the same time. Most couples book us for a focused window rather than the whole reception: a surprise at cocktail hour, a late-night treat after dancing starts, or a send-off as guests leave.

We work with the venue's timeline, not against it. Tell us the window you want covered and where the truck can park, and we will be set up and ready when the doors open.

Picking the right window

Three windows work best. Cocktail hour, where the truck is a surprise as guests arrive. Late night, roughly 60 to 90 minutes after dinner, when the dance floor needs a break. Or the send-off, where guests grab a cone on the way out. Most couples book 60 to 90 minutes.

  • Cocktail hour surprise for arriving guests
  • Late-night dessert once the dancing starts
  • Send-off service as guests head out
  • Works alongside cake — it is not a replacement

Venue requirements

Almost every venue requires a certificate of insurance and an approved parking location before an outside vendor can serve. We provide documentation on request. Confirm the parking spot with your venue or coordinator early, especially at historic or waterfront properties where vehicle access is limited.

What we serve at weddings

Soft serve cones, waffle cones, Maryland snowballs, milkshakes, sundaes and floats. Standard Menu keeps service fast, which matters when 120 guests all come out at once. Full Menu options are available on request at higher pricing.

Coordinating with your planner

Share our arrival window with your coordinator so the announcement lines up with our setup. We typically arrive ahead of the service window to get positioned quietly without interrupting the reception.

Where we serve

We serve weddings throughout Maryland, including Howard, Baltimore, Anne Arundel and Harford counties. Availability is based on event date, location, service time and current bookings.

Weddings FAQ

Should we replace our wedding cake with the truck?

Most couples keep the cake for the cutting and use the truck as the real dessert everyone eats. Both work together well.

Can you serve 150 wedding guests?

Yes, with enough service time. At roughly 100 servings per hour, 150 guests generally calls for about 90 minutes to two hours.

Will the venue allow an ice cream truck?

Most do with advance approval. They usually want a certificate of insurance and a specific parking location, both of which we can work out before your date.

Can we customize what is served?

We can discuss Full Menu options during booking. Standard Menu is the recommendation for larger guest counts because it serves faster.

What if it rains on our wedding day?

We serve from the truck window, so light rain is workable if guests have a covered path. Unsafe conditions are handled case by case, and rain dates are not automatic.
