Ice Cream Truck for Birthday Parties in Maryland
A birthday party is the most common reason people book us, and it is the easiest kind of event to plan around. The truck pulls up at your house, sets up in a few minutes and serves everyone from the window. No dessert table to set out, no cake cutting line and no cleanup afterward.
Most home birthdays are covered by one hour of service. That is long enough for a typical guest list to come through the line, get a second round for the kids who want one, and take pictures at the truck.

How a birthday party booking works
You pick the date, start time and how long you want the truck on site. We arrive early enough to set up, serve for your booked time, and pack up after. Host-paid is the usual choice for birthdays, which means guests order whatever they want and you are billed based on your guest tier, not per item.
- One-hour minimum, add hours if your guest list is large
- Host-paid pricing so guests never pull out a wallet
- Standard Menu keeps the line moving for a crowd of kids
- We only need a level parking spot about two car spaces wide
Timing the truck in your party schedule
The most popular approach is to schedule the truck for the last hour of the party. Guests get dessert, kids get a memorable moment at the window and the truck leaving naturally signals the party winding down. If you are also having cake, plan about 20 to 30 minutes between cake and truck arrival so both get attention.
What the kids actually order
Soft serve cones and Maryland snowballs are the two biggest sellers at birthday parties. Milkshakes, sundaes, floats and kids cups round it out. Kids cups are a good option for small children because they are easier to handle than a cone.
Adult birthdays and milestone parties
Plenty of our birthday bookings are for adults: 30th, 40th, 50th and retirement parties. Shakes, sundaes and snowballs do well at adult gatherings, and the truck is an easy conversation piece at a backyard party where guests are already standing and mingling.
Where we serve
We serve birthday parties throughout Maryland, including Howard, Baltimore, Anne Arundel and Harford counties. Availability is based on event date, location, service time and current bookings.
Birthday Parties FAQ
How much is an ice cream truck for a birthday party?
Standard Menu host-paid pricing starts at $400 for the first hour and $250 per additional hour for up to 50 guests. For 51 to 100 guests it is $600 for the first hour and $400 per additional hour. A travel fee may apply based on distance.
Can guests order more than one item?
With host-paid service, guests order what they want during your booked service time. We plan product based on the guest count you give us, so an accurate count matters.
What if my party is in a townhome or apartment community?
That works as long as there is a legal, level place to park the truck. Community lots and wide streets are usually fine, but check with your association or management if the spot is on shared property.
Do you do surprise arrivals?
Yes. Give us a precise arrival time in your booking notes and we will stage nearby and pull up right on cue.
How far ahead should I book a birthday party?
Summer Saturdays book fastest. If your party is between May and September, request your date as early as you can. Dates are held first come, first served once payment is received.
