Ice Cream Truck for School Events in Maryland
School events have the tightest schedules of anything we serve. Field days run on rotation, dismissal time is fixed and nobody can wait twenty minutes in line. Our setup is built around that: a fast serve-and-go line with a simple menu so classes move through in order.
We serve field days, reward and incentive days, PTA family nights, staff appreciation, fundraisers and last-day-of-school celebrations across Maryland public, private and charter schools.

Serving by class rotation
The most reliable way to serve a school is by group. Send classes in waves of 25 to 30 and the line never backs up. Give us your rotation schedule when you book and we will match the pace. As a planning number, we serve about 100 servings per hour.
- Class-by-class rotation keeps the line orderly
- Kids cups are the fastest option for younger grades
- Arrival timed around dismissal or the start of your rotation
- Health permit and certificate of insurance available for approval
Fundraisers and family nights
For fundraisers and family nights, guest-paid vending lets families buy at the window. These events are reviewed before confirmation because turnout matters, and a minimum sales guarantee may apply. If your school wants everyone covered, host-paid is the simpler option.
Approvals and documentation
Most school systems require a health permit and a certificate of insurance before a vendor comes on campus. We provide both on request. Ask for them early so the paperwork clears before your date.
Staff appreciation
Teacher and staff appreciation events are usually scheduled during a planning block or right after dismissal. A one-hour window is generally enough for a school staff, and it needs no room setup at all.
Where we serve
We serve school events throughout Maryland, including Howard, Baltimore, Anne Arundel and Harford counties. Availability is based on event date, location, service time and current bookings.
School Events FAQ
Can you serve an entire school in one visit?
It depends on enrollment and time. At roughly 100 servings per hour, a 400-student school needs about four hours of service or a plan to serve selected grades. Send your numbers and we will recommend a schedule.
Do you carry the permits schools require?
Yes. We can provide our health permit and a certificate of insurance naming the school or district on request.
Can the PTA run it as a fundraiser?
Guest-paid vending events are reviewed before confirmation and may require a minimum sales guarantee. Send your expected turnout and we will tell you what is workable.
What about students with allergies?
Tell us about allergy concerns in your booking notes. Our items are prepared in a shared truck environment, so families with severe allergies should plan accordingly.
Where does the truck park at a school?
Usually the bus loop, staff lot or a closed-off section of the parking lot. We need a level spot with clear access away from active student traffic.
